Basketball Game Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Lancaster Eagles

Two dominant guards in Anthony Delouth and Keelan Benjamin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Palmdale Falcons duke it out with the Lancaster Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday... Palmdale has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 16.

Last Wednesday, Palmdale ended up a good deal behind Highland and lost 72-56.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Lancaster sidestepped Antelope Valley for a 53-50 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Lancaster had a senior duo take command as Dajuan Manning posted 18 points and Benjamin had 17 points. Benjamin's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Lancaster's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Palmdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Palmdale came up short against Lancaster in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 64-56. Can Palmdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
