Softball Recap: Charlotte Latin's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Charlotte Latin lost against Covenant Day on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks fell 6-2 to the Lions. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Charlotte Latin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ainsley Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Charlotte Latin moved to 13-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Covenant Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5-1 record this season.

Charlotte Latin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 win against Gaston Christian on the 25th. As for Covenant Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Cannon on the 29th.
