Baseball Recap: Salamanca Takes a Loss

Salamanca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Fredonia Hillbillies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillbillies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-5 on Saturday.

Salamanca's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fredonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Salamanca and Fredonia will both be playing Southwestern the next time they take the field. The Hillbillies will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
