Volleyball Recap: Ripon Gets the Win

Ripon came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Stoughton Vikings 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

Danielle Brewer paced Ripon's offense, picking up seven kills. Brewer got some help from Emma Resop and her 16 assists. Resop also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brinna Flanigan, each putting up two.

The victory got Ripon back to even at 15-15. As for Stoughton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-22.

Coming up, Ripon will welcome Nekoosa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stoughton, they will face off against Fort Atkinson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
