Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Has No Trouble Against Clay County

South Harrison's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Clay County Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Hawks were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

South Harrison walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-16.

South Harrison can attribute much of their success to Abby Louk, who had four digs and four aces.

Louk wasn't the only good servers: South Harrison was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. The Hawks are a perfect 12-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

South Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Clay County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, South Harrison will take on Moorefield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clay County, they will challenge Poca at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
