Basketball Recap: Princeton Snags 12th Win in Last 15 Games

There's no place like home for Princeton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Plano Wildcats 52-36 on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Princeton has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Plano, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Princeton Panthers face off against the McKinney Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Princeton is facing McKinney at the right time seeing as McKinney is stuck on a 21-game losing streak. As for Plano, they will welcome Plano West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Plano West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
