Woodbridge got a massive performance out of Caroline Scott, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Abriyah Reed, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and two doubles.

Polytech's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Woodbridge, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.
