Destiny Christian strolled into their game  on Saturday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Life Prep Fire with a sharp  22-1 victory. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.
 Zoey Landers made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Cienna Davis was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 1.2  stolen bases per game.  Kailey Gee also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen bases of the season.
 Destiny Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .833. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in March of 2024.
Destiny Christian pushed their record up to 12-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Life Prep,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Destiny Christian beat the Fire by a score of  18-0 later that day.
