Volleyball Recap: Rosewood Eagles vs. Eno River Bobcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rosewood had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eno River Bobcats by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, 25-19.
Jessica Fones paced Rosewood's offense, picking up 13 kills. Fones got some help from
Averi Cuddeback and her 26 assists. Finally,
Avery Ramsey kept Rosewood's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Rosewood pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Eno River, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season.
Rosewood has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against East Wake Academy on the 26th. Eno River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
