Football Game Preview: Huron Tigers vs. Brookings Bobcats

For the second week in a row, Huron is taking on Brookings. The Tigers will face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huron's defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so Brookings' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Huron is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Brookings just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 22-14 to the Bobcats. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Huron might have lost, but man, Anderson Porisch was a machine: he rushed for 112 yards, and also threw for 119 yards and one touchdown.

Brookings' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.4 points on average over those games. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
