Basketball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Beaver Beavers

Parowan hasn't had much luck against Beaver recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Parowan Rams will welcome the Beaver Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Parowan is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 21st straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Water Canyon, falling 66-45. One positive for the Rams, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 66 points the game before, Beaver was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 38-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kanab. The contest marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

With the defeat, Beaver broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6. As for Parowan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-20.

Parowan was dealt a bruising 49-10 defeat at the hands of Beaver in their previous matchup on January 7th. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Parowan was down 31-4.
