Lumberton extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Andrea Brown. The Lumberton Pirates put the hurt on the Purnell Swett Rams with a sharp 49-28 victory on Monday thanks to Brown, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lumberton's points.

Lumberton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points over those games. As for Purnell Swett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lumberton and Seventy-First will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
