Linden proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four contests in a row.

Linden's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-6.

Looking ahead, Linden will square off against Bret Harte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bradshaw Christian on the 11th.
