Basketball Recap: Mount Miguel Gets the Win

Mount Miguel's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over the Granite Hills Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Matadors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hamad Elhamad continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023. Jerome Radcliff was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The victory got Mount Miguel back to even at 2-2. As for Granite Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mount Miguel will head out to square off against Valhalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Miguel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. As for Granite Hills, they will host Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
