Volleyball Recap: Crown Point Extends Winning Streak to Five

Crown Point waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Avon Orioles by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Orioles on their court since September 4, 2021.

Crown Point never let Avon on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16.

Elle Schara paced Crown Point's offense, picking up ten kills. Schara got some help from Elisabetta Bedoy and her 11 assists. Hayden Klimowicz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Crown Point's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Avon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Crown Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Tri-West Hendricks on the 6th. As for Avon, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Floyd Central on the 6th.
