Soccer Recap: Cardinal Gibbons Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cardinal Gibbons had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Felton Grove on Monday. The Crusaders never let the Galaxy get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in September.

The victory was the third in a row for Cardinal Gibbons, bringing their record up to 4-6-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Felton Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
