Soccer Recap: Columbus East Starts Season with Win at Home

Columbus East gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Indian Creek Braves with a sharp 6-0 victory.

Columbus East's offense was hitting Indian Creek from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Natasha Armstrong led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Columbus East will host Franklin Community at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Creek, they will venture away from home to take on Whiteland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
