Baseball Recap: Kennedy Finds Playoff Glory Versus St. Joseph Notre Dame

With a playoff win on the line, Kennedy rose to the challenge on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Isaiah Ebrahimi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kennedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Padilla, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 13-12. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-12.

Coming up, Kennedy will head out to take on Pinole Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
