Softball Recap: Ledyard Comes Up Short

Ledyard and Ellington squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ledyard had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Knights. The game marked the first time this season in which the Colonels were not able to get on the board.

Ledyard's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Ellington, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Ledyard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ellington, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Waterford on the 11th.
