Soccer Recap: Peachtree Ridge Takes a Loss

Peachtree Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Norcross Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 47th).

Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Norcross, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Peachtree Ridge take on Parkview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkview will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Peachtree Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norcross, they will square off against Brookwood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brookwood's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matchups.
