Soccer Game Preview: Appomattox County vs. Chatham

Appomattox County is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Wednesday. Appomattox County fell victim to Liberty Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Chatham put another one in the bag last Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Mecklenburg County a 5-0 shutout. Fans of Chatham have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Their offense was hitting Mecklenburg County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Chatham pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Appomattox County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
