Basketball Recap: Star-Spencer Find Success

There's no place like home for Star-Spencer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 1-0 win over the Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Ruf-Nex back in January, they had to take a 49-35 defeat.

Star-Spencer's victory bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Crooked Oak, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Star-Spencer has already played their next game, an 81-5 defeat against Community Christian on the 7th. As for Crooked Oak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-15 loss against Douglass on the 7th.
