Preview: Apex Friendship Patriots vs. Holly Springs Golden Hawks
Apex Friendship is 10-0 against Holly Springs since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Apex Friendship Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holly Springs Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Saturday, Apex Friendship came up short against South Central and fell 59-47.
Apex Friendship's loss came about despite a quality game from Jasmine Nivar, who scored 26 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Nivar's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-32, which was the final score in Holly Springs' tilt against West Catholic on Saturday.
Their wins bumped Apex Friendship to 3-2 and South Central to 5-1.
