Basketball Recap: Medora Find Success + How To Watch

Medora hadn't done well against Shawe Memorial recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Hornets walked away with a 68-60 win over the Hilltoppers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their 22-point performance the contest before.

Kade Wright was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 92% from the field en route to 25 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Those 92% field goal percentage gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Owen, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

The victory got Medora back to even at 1-1. As for Shawe Memorial, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Medora and Shawe Memorial will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets are set to face off against their familiar foe Lighthouse Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shawe Memorial will challenge rival Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
