Winnebago Lutheran Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 55-39 victory over the North Fond du Lac Orioles. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Orioles are ranked 457th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for North Fond du Lac, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Laconia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Laconia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Winnebago Lutheran Academy likes a good challenge.
