With a playoff win on the line, Exeter-West Greenwich rose to the challenge on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Middletown Islanders. For the Scarlet Knights, this counts as revenge for the 13-1 victory the Islanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Exeter-West Greenwich is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

As of now, neither Exeter-West Greenwich nor the Islanders have any future games scheduled.
