Volleyball Recap: Elko Takes a Loss

Elko was the 3-1 winner over Fernley when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Vaqueros on Saturday.

While Elko had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Elko's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fernley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Elko has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Incline on the 16th. As for Fernley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Truckee at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
