Recap: Campbell County Cougars vs. Karns Beavers
The Campbell County Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 56-47 to Karns. Campbell County has not had much luck with Karns recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Campbell County's loss came despite strong showings from Luke Browning and Gavin Cox. Browning scored 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Cox almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keegan Nelson, who scored five points along with two steals.
Campbell County has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Karns, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
Campbell County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Karns, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-51 win vs. Clinton on the 10th.
