Softball Recap: Upper Darby Takes a Loss

The matchup between Upper Darby and Haverford on Tuesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Royals came up short against the Fords, falling 13-6.

Kaylie Hasson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Yard, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Upper Darby's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Haverford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

Upper Darby will take on Lower Merion at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Royals are facing the Aces at the right time seeing as the Aces are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Haverford, they will venture away from home to take on Conestoga at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
