Basketball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 43-33 to the Spring Hill Panthers. The Buckeyes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Gilmer's record is now 1-12. As for Spring Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Gilmer will square off against Kilgore at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gilmer is facing Kilgore at the right time seeing as Kilgore is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Spring Hill, they will take on Cumberland Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
