Football Recap: Unaka Takes a Loss

Unaka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles, falling 33-0. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Eagles are ranked fourth).

Unaka's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Unaka will head out to face off against Cloudland on Friday. The Rangers will be up against the Highlanders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Tri-Cities Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
