Basketball Game Preview: Clay County Bulldogs vs. Copper Basin Cougars

The Clay County Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Copper Basin Cougars on Saturday.

Clay County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Clarkrange just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 57-32 to the Buffaloes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Buffaloes since March 3, 2021.

Meanwhile, Copper Basin had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Eagles.

Copper Basin's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Clay County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
