Soccer Recap: Auburn's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Auburn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Kentwood Conquerors get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for Auburn as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Auburn's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-10-2 and their overall record up to 3-12-2. As for Kentwood, they dropped their record down to 0-10-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Auburn didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Auburn Mountainview on the 3rd. As for Kentwood, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Mt. Rainier on the 6th.
