Soccer Recap: New Castle vs. Delta
New Castle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 6-2 to the Delta Eagles. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Trojans were already down 4-1.

Paul Stapleton scored both of New Castle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.
New Castle's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Delta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Castle will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 5:00 p.m. As for Delta, they will venture away from home to challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
