Basketball Recap: Daniel Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Daniel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fountain Inn Fury on Monday, sneaking past 58-55.

Daniel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from James Epting, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Epting a new career-high. Jackson Conley was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards.

Daniel's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Fountain Inn, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Daniel will take on Dalton in a tournament on Thursday. As for Fountain Inn, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
