 Valliant entered their tilt with Wright City with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. They won by a  run and slipped past the Wright City Lumberjax  2-1. This was a revenge  match for Valliant, as the team was forced to settle for  a  9-0 defeat when these two played  last Thursday.
  Jaxson Beene spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits.
 At the plate, Valliant saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brody Dorries, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Valliant now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Wright City, they dropped their record down to 11-4 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. As for Wright City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wister at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
