It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lane Tech had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Solorio Sun Warriors 46-0. The Champions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Lane Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Angel Ativie led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Faith Galik got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory (which was Lane Tech's third in a row) raised their record to 12-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for Solorio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Lane Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Lindblom on the 27th. Solorio does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
