St. Cloud won the last time they faced Poinciana and things went their way on Thursday too. The St. Cloud Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Poinciana Eagles 3-2.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Cloud who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 25-27, 16-14.
Enrique Soto paced St. Cloud's offense, picking up 23 kills. Soto got some help from Eddier Rodriguez and his 41 assists. Omar Tezel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
