Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, a fact South Haven Christian proved on Thursday. They walked away with a 43-32 win over Pleasant View Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Haven Christian.
South Haven Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aliya Gagliano out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Gagliano has scored at least a third of South Haven Christian's points. Kaleigh Starnes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-17, which was the final score in Highland Rim Academy's tilt against Clarksville Christian on January 5th.
