Canyon came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Hereford Whitefaces 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 6th.

Canyon pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Hereford, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-8-1.
