While Parkway South's victory against Seckman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Jaguars on Thursday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Parker Wolf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andy Hertlein, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Parkway South is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.
