Soccer Recap: Knightstown Takes a Loss

Knightstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints. Knightstown were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Indianapolis Lutheran apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Knightstown's goal came courtesy of Trinity Chapman, who's now up to 28 this season.

Knightstown's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Indianapolis Lutheran will be playing at home against Greenwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Knightstown will be paying especially close attention to the Saints' match: after the Saints face off against the Cougars, they'll take on Knightstown again at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
