The Mooreville Troopers are on the road again on Friday and play against the Humphreys County Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Hopefully Mooreville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
Mooreville had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They slipped by Independence 13-12. That's two games straight that Mooreville has won by exactly a single point.

Meanwhile, Humphreys County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past Belmont 47-0 at home. Humphreys County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Ollizous Brent went supernova for Humphreys County, rushing for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Brent's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Desean Cooperwood was another key contributor, rushing for 21 yards and a touchdown.
Mooreville's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Humphreys County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
