Baseball Recap: Corvian Community Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bradford Prep last Friday, Corvian Community came back down to earth. The Cardinals came up short against the Christ the King Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 8-2. The Cardinals have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Corvian Community got a good showing from Jaxon Pinyan, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

Corvian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Christ the King, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Corvian Community will square off against Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christ the King, they will take on Mount Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
