Football Recap: Franklin Falls to Farmington/Nute in First Game of Season

Franklin had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The matchup between the Tornadoes and the Farmington/Nute Tigers didn't end well, with the Tornadoes falling 22-8. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will challenge rival Hillsboro-Deering at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Farmington/Nute is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Brady at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
