Recap: Parkview Panthers vs. Shiloh Generals
The Parkview Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 79-54 defeat at the hands of Shiloh. Parkview has struggled against Shiloh recently, as their contest on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Shiloh was led to victory by Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Cole scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Jordan is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Cameron Stephen was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Parkview bumped their record down to 4-16 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Shiloh, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview and Brookwood will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brookwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Parkview in Georgia (Brookwood is ranked 79th, while Parkview is ranked 280th). As for Shiloh, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Habersham Central at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Habersham Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
