Basketball Recap: North Central Knights vs. Stuart Broncos
North Central lost against Stuart back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Central Knights were dealt a 64-31 defeat at the hands of the Stuart Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Broncos are ranked 110th).
Hunter Tubbs was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds for Stuart. The game was Tubbs' third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameson Estill, who posted 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for North Central and nudges their season record down to 8-14. As for Stuart, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
