Baseball Recap: Trenton Has No Trouble Against Ector

Trenton's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Ector Eagles as the Trenton Tigers made off with a 13-2 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Davis, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Paxton Gonzalez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Trenton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Trenton's victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trenton will head out to challenge Collinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ector, they will face off against Saint Jo at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
