Basketball Recap: New Riegel Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

New Riegel won against St. Mary Central Catholic last Tuesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The New Riegel Blue Jackets walked away with a 64-56 win over the Woodmore Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Jackets also won the last time the pair played back in January.

New Riegel's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Woodmore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

New Riegel will take on Danbury in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodmore, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Woodmore Wildcats duke it out with the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
