Basketball Game Preview: East vs. Lakeview Bulldogs

East will venture away from home to square off against the Lakeview Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, East came up short against Ursuline and fell 47-40.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lakeview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-40 victory over Hubbard on Thursday.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lakeview, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

East didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lakeview in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for East since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
